Participants are responsible for arranging and covering their travel to Phuket. Below is an estimate of typical travel costs:

• Round-trip Flights to Phuket: $1,200–$2,000 CAD (economy class, depending on season and booking time)
• Travel Insurance: $50–$100 CAD (for 3 months)
• Visa Fees: $50–$150 CAD (varies by consulate and processing method)

While the program covers most essentials, we recommend budgeting for personal expenses:

• Meals: $150–$300 CAD (for 2 weeks)
• Transportation (local): $50–$150 CAD (tuk-tuks, ride shares, or buses)
• Tourism and Activities (optional): $100–$300 CAD (e.g., island hopping, guided tours)
• SIM Card and Data Plan: $10–$20 CAD (for local communication and internet)
• Miscellaneous (shopping, souvenirs): $50–$100 CAD

Teaching English in Thailand offers a rewarding experience both professionally and financially. Salary ranges for foreign teachers:

• Average Monthly Salary: 30,000–40,000 THB ($1,250–$1,700 CAD)
• Higher Salaries: Up to 60,000+ THB ($2,500 CAD) for experienced teachers or specialized roles.
• Living Costs: Teachers can save significantly as living expenses in Thailand are relatively low.
